Diamond Valley Rockies – Alberta Division, USPHL
The Diamond Valley Rockies are proud to compete in the newly formed Alberta Division of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), bringing elite junior hockey to the foothills of Southern Alberta. Based in the close-knit community of Diamond Valley and framed by the Rocky Mountains, the Rockies were founded with a clear mission: to develop high-character athletes and provide a proven pathway to higher levels of hockey, academics, and life beyond the game.
As a first-year organization, the Diamond Valley Rockies are built from the ground up with a strong emphasis on player development, accountability, and opportunity. Competing in one of North America’s fastest-growing junior leagues, the Rockies offer players exposure to NCAA, U SPORTS, and professional opportunities while training and competing in a supportive, community-driven environment. From grassroots growth to high-performance standards, the Diamond Valley Rockies are committed to building something special—on and off the ice.

Riley Smith on joining the Diamond Valley Rockies
“I’m incredibly excited and honored to be part of the Diamond Valley Rockies organization and the launch of the Alberta Division of the USPHL. From day one, the vision for this team has been about doing things the right way—developing players, building culture, and creating a program that athletes and families truly believe in.”

“Being part of a first-year organization is a special opportunity. We’re laying the foundation for what this team will represent for years to come. Our focus is on player growth, work ethic, and accountability, while providing real exposure and advancement opportunities at the next level.”
“The community support in Diamond Valley, the leadership behind the scenes, and the direction of the USPHL make this an exciting place to build something meaningful. I’m proud to lead this group and look forward to what we can accomplish together.”
